Power Roll Team Volunteering Afternoon for St Oswald’s Hospice

On Friday 8th November, the team at Power Roll travelled over to the St Oswald’s Central Distribution Centre in Newcastle (where all the charity bags are collected centrally) and they had an afternoon volunteering with the St Oswald’s helpers sorting through all the bags!

St Oswald’s Hospice provides specialist hospice care to North East adults, young people, babies and children with life-limiting conditions.  Their retail department has 26 shops across the North East and they sell a range of high quality, second hand items such as clothing, books, furniture and electrical goods which all come into the Central Distribution Centre.  The team had a busy but really fun afternoon working together in their allocated areas, keeping an eye out for any particular treasures!  It was a great team building event and a good afternoon was had by all!
